As a passionate wedding cinematographer, I had the privilege of capturing their special day and witnessing the love and unique details that made it truly memorable. Who Are Emma and Danny? Emma and Danny are a remarkable couple who have been together for ten years. They met unexpectedly in a pub in Welling, and their connection was instantaneous. Despite having different professional backgrounds, with Emma working in advertising and Danny running his own business in marble supply, they complement each other perfectly. Emma also works as a freelance wedding coordinator and stylist, making her passion for weddings shine through.

The Proposal: Emma’s proposal story is a beautiful blend of intimacy and sentimentality. Prior to Danny’s proposal Emma’s father illness took a turn for the worst, and Danny feared he would miss his opportunity to seek the permission of her father whom she was so close to. On a miraculous day during her father’s hospice care, Danny was able to share a meaningful conversation. Little did Emma know that Danny asked her father for his blessing that day. Sadly a few weeks later Emma’s father passed, however, on Christmas Day, her favourite day with her father, Danny got down on one knee and asked Emma to marry him. The proposal symbolized their cherished memories, the mark of their first Christmas in their home, and a positive memory at a time of sorrow, and even included and inside joke.

Why Capturing Their Wedding on Video? Being aware of the fleeting nature of wedding moments and wanting to preserve the memories, Emma and Danny chose to have their wedding filmed. As two individuals who aren’t fond of being the center of attention, or staged photos, Emma knew the importance of capturing a wedding on video and so wanted to savor the details and relive the ceremony in their own time. The video would not only capture moments they may have missed but also allow them to experience their wedding day whenever they wanted.

Why Us? When selecting a videographer, Emma’s discerning eye led her Lincolnshire Videography. She was drawn to our work, having seen our portfolio and the beautiful videos we had created at their chosen venue, Swynford Manor. Furthermore, our warm and approachable response sealed the deal, making us the perfect fit for capturing their wedding day.

Why Swynford? The Unique Charm of Swynford Manor Swynford Manor captivated Emma and Danny with its unconventional and bold aesthetic. The venue’s black walls and contemporary design perfectly complemented their non-traditional vision. Emma didn’t need to search further; Swynford Manor felt like home. With an “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it” attitude, they fell in love with the venue’s sharp, modern ambiance and knew it was the ideal place to celebrate their love.

Conclusion: Emma and Danny’s wedding was a testament to their extraordinary love story and unique personalities. Their deep connection and shared sentimental moments made their special day truly remarkable. As their wedding cinematographer, I am grateful to have been a part of capturing these cherished memories on film.
