About Miranda & Henry

Miranda – runs a recruitment business for the agriculture industry. Loves dog walking, horse riding, beach walks, playing tennis and skiing. Huge foodie, who loves going out for a Sunday roast, and hosting a BBQ. Henry – Director of a roofing business. Loved tennis, and is also obsessed with food. Loves entertaining and hosting.

The proposal – Henry planned to propose on Miranda’s parents boat in Devon in May 2023. They were staying on the boat. On the evening in question, they were meant to be going out to sea, but the weather was very on and off! So instead they went out to one of Miranda’s favourite restaurants for supper, and when they got back to the boat, they sat on the front of the boat, in which in turned out to be a pretty still evening on the sea. Henry put on Nina Simone ‘Feeling Good’ (which will be their first dance), then managed to spill red wine everywhere! As Miranda describes it, Henry ‘nervously shuffled’ away and cleaned up his mess, then asked her to marry him to follow. Miranda was hysterical (lots of tears, from someone who is not a tears kind of girl). Miranda was totally not expecting it. She didn’t dare put the ring on as she was scared she’d accidentally chuck it overboard, so they went inside where it was safe. Excited and wanting to celebrate, they headed in town in search of champagne, but the bar they headed to was closing! They ended up in cocktail bar instead, where they met random photographer who took a couple of photos for them! Not quite the champagne

Why Lincolnshire Videography – Because you’d captured Miranda’s sisters wedding so well, and the couple love the idea of having the memory of their special day in a video format. Miranda plans to put her wedding dress on every anniversary, have champagne and canapes, and watch the video. Miranda knows your work, knows you’re good at what you do, and thought her sisters video was amazing.

A Joyful Celebration: The Enchanting Wedding of Miranda & Henry

As a wedding videographer, each celebration I capture tells a unique story, and the wedding of Miranda and Henry was a breathtaking tale filled with surprises, laughter, and heartfelt moments. From the tranquil beginnings of the day to the exuberant celebrations under the marquee, every detail was meticulously planned and beautifully executed.

The Morning Preparations

The day began at Miranda’s family home, a picturesque setting where she and her bridesmaids prepared for the big day. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, with Miranda in high spirits, her joy radiating throughout the house. It was a scene of serene beauty and anticipation, enhanced by the bustling preparations outside. Florists and decorators worked diligently, setting up the stunning marquee on the grounds, which would later host a spectacular reception.

Miranda’s preparation was a heartwarming blend of calm and excitement. As she had her hair and makeup done, surrounded by her closest friends and family, you could sense the love and happiness in the air. We captured these intimate moments, preserving the laughter and the affectionate exchanges that set the tone for the day.

Henry’s Tennis Match

Meanwhile, Henry started his day on a different note, engaging in a lively game of tennis with his groomsmen. This playful start provided a delightful contrast to Miranda’s serene morning. Filming Henry and his friends enjoying the sport added a unique touch to the wedding film, showcasing the different ways the couple prepared for their special day.

A Grand Arrival

Miranda’s arrival at the church was nothing short of magical. She made her entrance in a carriage pulled by majestic horses, a scene straight out of a fairytale. But the real surprise was yet to come. As she approached the church, an amazing gospel choir emerged, filling the air with the uplifting sounds of “Oh Happy Day.” The guests were astonished and delighted by this unexpected treat, creating an atmosphere of warmth and joy that perfectly complemented Miranda’s radiant arrival.

A Heartfelt Ceremony

Inside the church, Henry awaited Miranda’s arrival with eager anticipation. The gospel choir’s performance continued as Miranda walked down the aisle, adding a joyous and soulful element to the ceremony. The love and emotion in the room were palpable as the couple exchanged vows, and it was an honor to capture these precious moments.

As they exited the church as husband and wife, the choir once again serenaded them, creating an unforgettable soundtrack for their first walk together. They departed in the horse-drawn carriage through a tunnel of confetti, a picture-perfect moment that symbolized the start of their new journey together.

A Reception to Remember

The reception was held on the lush lawns of Miranda’s family home, a relaxed country setting that was both charming and elegant. Guests mingled and enjoyed canapés and champagne under the warm sun, basking in the beauty of the day. The marquee was beautifully decorated, providing a stunning backdrop for the celebrations.

Miranda and Henry continued to surprise their guests throughout the evening. Just as dessert was being served, the waiters, who had been undercover, burst into song, much to the delight of everyone present. The marquee erupted in applause and laughter, setting the stage for a night filled with music and dancing.

The evening entertainment was nothing short of spectacular. A live band, accompanied by a saxophonist and drummer, kept the dance floor packed all night long. The energy was infectious, and it was clear that everyone was having the time of their lives.

A Day to Cherish

Miranda and Henry’s wedding was a true celebration of love, filled with beautiful moments and delightful surprises. From the serene morning preparations to the joyful ceremony and the lively reception, every detail was thoughtfully planned and wonderfully executed. It was a day that I felt privileged to capture, and the resulting film is a testament to the love and happiness that surrounded this wonderful couple on their special day.
